This one-day workshop offers an experiential and practical exploration of working with intercultural couples—relationships where partners differ in culture, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or language. It examines how cultural identity, power, and wider social contexts shape couple dynamics, while supporting practitioners to reflect on their own position in the therapy room. The day introduces accessible frameworks and clinical tools to support sensitive, effective practice. Suitable for therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and trainees working with culturally diverse couples.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR - RAJAN RAI

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist with extensive experience working with intercultural couples. Much of my clinical work has focused on supporting partners navigating cultural difference, identity, power, migration, faith, and family expectations within their relationships.
