Domestic Abuse Training for Counsellors (4 Hours)

About the Trainer - Jenni Smith

With over a decade of experience in counselling, I bring a strong background in nursing and midwifery, combined with nine years as a Safeguarding Midwife, where supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse has been a key focus of my role. I hold a Master’s degree in Child Welfare and Protection, with additional expertise in adult safeguarding. Beyond my work in healthcare, I have served as a Safeguarding Officer in local counselling charities, further deepening my commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals. Based in Aberdeen City, I am passionate about ensuring that professionals are equipped with the right knowledge and skills to support those at risk. This training reflects my dedication to promoting best practices and empowering counsellors to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing domestic abuse.

Early Bird - Standard £105 / Trainee Counsellor £85 until 20 May 2025

Thereafter Standard - £125 / Trainee Counsellor £105
